Privacy Policy

Astrina helps you explore your birth chart. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how you can request access or deletion.

Data controller contact for privacy matters: support@astrina.app

1. Data We Collect

  • Birth data you provide: date, time (optional), and place of birth.
  • Account linking data when you choose to link: provider identifier and account metadata.
  • Operational data: device, network, and security signals needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

2. How We Use Data

  • Generate your natal chart and interpretation content.
  • Maintain account sessions and optional sign-in linking.
  • Detect abuse, enforce security controls, and debug service issues.
  • Measure reliability and improve product quality.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers required to operate Astrina (for example, hosting, authentication, and email delivery), and only to the extent needed for those services.

5. Retention and Deletion

  • We keep account and chart data while your account is active and needed for service delivery.
  • When deletion is requested, removal is scheduled with a grace period before final deletion.
  • Some system logs and backups may remain for a limited period for security and recovery needs.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • You can use core onboarding without linking an external account.
  • You can request data access, correction, export, or deletion through support.
  • You can request deletion in the iOS app: Natal Chart -> Account menu -> Delete Account, or by emailing support.
  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example GDPR/UK GDPR or California privacy laws), including rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain processing.

7. Data Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data in transit, data at rest, and service access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve our controls.

8. Children's Privacy

Astrina is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will investigate and remove data where appropriate.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date at the top of this page, and where required we will provide additional notice.
